Thanks for your interest in my art. I’d like to share that I love painting. It is a wonderful outlet for me and good for my soul. Apparently, I began painting as a little girl, as I found a note recently that my mother had written to my Nana sharing how I loved to sit on the porch and paint. Ironically, she told my Nana that she hoped that I did something with it one day for I enjoyed it so much. And so, here I am, with all of my color, swirlies, beads and glitter.

We are fortunate enough to live in Savannah, Georgia and thankfully, Tybee Island is not far away. I love Tybee! I grew up down there during the summers and I believe it shows in my work. It was colorful and alive 20 or 30 years ago and it still is today.

I put my heart in my art. It does make me feel exposed and at times it takes me back to that 5 or 6 year old child painting pictures for my mom on the front porch. It brings me so much joy and happiness!

I garden, and to me my flowers are like the earth smiling back at me. My art and my garden are peaceful places in which I can rest my spirit. I breath!

It refreshes my soul. I ask God daily to help me grow to be the person He wants me to be and to let the spirit within me shine forth. I try to share my passions with my children. My faith, family, and friendship make me to feel complete. I am grateful for all of my blessings.
